OCI free-tier 강제퇴출

어제까지 잘 접속되던 VM이 갑자기 접속이 안되었다.

console 접속하려고 하니 암호가 틀렸다고 나와서 password reset을 해도 틀렸다고 나온다.

이게 말로 만 듣던 악명높은 terminate 정책이구나...
나는 분명히 잘 쓰고 있었던거 같은데... 무엇때문인지 어떤정책때문인지 모르겠다. 다만 appeal 신청 한게 전부이고 이제 기다리는 일만 남았다.

아님 말고 식...

아... 계정이 시스템에 의해 자동 종료(terminated) 됐대. Free Tier 미사용 정책으로 Oracle이 강제로 삭제한 거야.

그래서....한번더 찔러보자..
I was actively using this account until yesterday. I did not receive any warning email before termination. Is there really no way to restore it?

다음에 Oracle Free Tier 다시 쓴다면 크론잡으로 주기적인 부하를 줘서 idle 판정을 피하는 방법을 쓰는 사람들이 많다고 한다.
